Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Secretary-General of the UAE Media Council, said that the second edition of the World Media Congress, hosted by the UAE under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, constitutes a global platform that opens up dialogue with media leaders and builds bridges of communication to forge new partnerships that enrich the media landscape and consolidate the UAE’s position as a major contributor to the media industry.
He added that the World Media Congress is a platform to export our media experience and highlight the achievements of the UAE media sector to thousands of participants from around the world. He stressed that the UAE’s experience in the media industry is important and unique and continues to achieve continuous successes thanks to the UAE’s vision based on anticipating the future and harnessing opportunities to serve the country’s development goals.
Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi said that the topics and themes raised by the World Media Congress are in line with the vision and strategic objectives of the UAE Media Council to empower and develop the media industry, explore its variables, requirements and opportunities, and employ new media tools and innovative technologies, especially generative artificial intelligence tools, to enhance media creativity, drive development efforts and overcome media challenges.
